As the temperature begins to drop, the American Heart Association and the Centers for Disease Control remind us of the benefits of working out in colder temperatures.

  • No heat or humidity to deal with! Winter’s chill might even wake you up and make you feel invigorated!
  • Sunlight can help improve your mood and give you a daily dose of vitamin D!
  • Exercise can boost your immunity!

However, if winter weather does prevent you from getting outside, make sure you take time to plan how you can adjust your workout routine indoors! The Slainte team has plenty of resources to keep you moving, including live and recorded classes, on-demand resources and monthly challenges.
