In 2016, Morgan decided to get serious about her wellness journey. She began working out 5-7 days per week, personal training, focusing on balanced, sustainable nutrition and meal prepping. Her strong will and consistent hard work led to success. She even decided that she wanted to start running and training for her first race. However, her running aspirations were detoured in August 2017 when she tore her meniscus. For most people, this would have caused a regression back to where they started. For Morgan, this setback was a catapult forward. She rehabbed her knee, continued to train and ran Broad Street that May. In the three years since, she has challenged herself in and out of the gym, run various races and even completed her first virtual duathlon. Morgan has made healthy eating and regular exercise a foundation in her life. Since March, Morgan has kept up with her journey by participating in various Slainte Challenges and the live group exercise classes. The most impactful part of her journey hasn’t been the clothing sizes she lost, but rather the strength and confidence she has gained. None of this would have been possible without resilience and the internal fight to keep going. Morgan, we are so proud of you and have loved seeing this wellness journey give you the confidence to conquer your goals and motivate others along the way.
