Ms. Meda Hannigan is the Director of Community Spirit and a Group Exercise Instructor on the Slainte Team. She started at USLI part time in 2004 as a Fitness Trainer while also working at Genesis Health Care in Brandywine, Pa. before becoming a full-time team member at USLI in 2009.

Ms. Hannigan earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from West Chester University and holds certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, LaBlast, Les Mills Body Pump, Body Flow, Body Jam, Body Step and Tabata Boot Camp. She has over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness field, including managing an all-women’s fitness center, assisting with physical therapy and chiropractic needs, personal training and working with geriatric/senior populations in therapeutic recreation.

Ms. Hannigan organizes many USLI community initiatives including events to fundraise for Nothing But Nets, Breastcancer.org and Toys for Tots. She stays fit by teaching cardio HIIT and Tabata-inspired classes, body bar, Bosu, kickboxing, Pilates, step, yoga and dance. Ms. Hannigan also enjoys family time and being active outdoors biking, swimming and taking her dogs for long walks.
