Marisel began to make strides towards achieving a healthy lifestyle a few years ago by running 5k races, but her progress with long-term goals was inconsistent. In the beginning of 2017, Marisel decided to make a plan – that’s when the difference started to come to fruition. Since January, she is down 25 pounds. She recently completed her first 10k race, beating her goal by five minutes, and she already has a goal of competing at longer distances. Aside from her milestone accomplishments, Marisel took it upon herself to learn how to build her own strength and conditioning program, maintain healthy habits and consistently strive to attain a healthy work-life-health balance. Marisel’s progress thus far is a testament towards how preparing to win is the key to attaining a healthy lifestyle!
